harald westre

My name is Harald Westre.
This page is for those who want to understand who I am, what I stand in, and why I share what I share.

HaraldWestre.com is not built as a sales platform, but as a personal journal and thought log — a place where I collect thoughts, experiences, and reflections as I live, learn, and build, in faith, in life, and in work.

Identity and values

My identity is grounded in Jesus Christ.
He is Lord and Savior in my life, and my desire is to live in a way that aligns with what I believe.

This shapes how I think, how I act, and how I relate to other people. It means that I place importance on truth, conscience, responsibility, and integrity — even when it comes at a cost.

I am not without flaws, but I strive to live honestly and sincerely, and to let my actions speak louder than my words.

What this platform is

This website is my personal journal.

Here, I share:

  • reflections on spiritual growth
  • thoughts on life as it is actually lived
  • experiences from family, relationships, and community
  • insights from work, entrepreneurship, and value creation
  • learning that often comes through resistance and demanding processes

Much of the content begins as video — often spontaneous thoughts or conversations — and is later turned into text. Not to appear polished, but to gather and preserve what I learn along the way.

Background and experience

I hold a bachelor’s degree in Marketing Communication from BI Norwegian Business School and have worked with marketing, sales, and digital projects since 2009. Over time, I have built and been involved in both my own and others’ projects across various industries and domains.

Some things have succeeded. Others have failed. Both have been valuable.

This experience shapes how I think about work, growth, and responsibility — but this page is not meant to be a résumé. It is meant to provide context.

How I view growth

To me, growth is not only about results or performance, but about wholeness.

Growth can mean:

  • spiritual growth
  • growing in the role of husband and father
  • growing in responsibility and character
  • building something that lasts over time

This understanding forms the foundation for everything I share here.

An open invitation

You do not need to agree with everything I write.
You do not need to share my worldview to read or follow along.

If you are curious about reflections on life, faith, work, and growth — shared without a façade and without an agenda — you are welcome to follow the journal.

Everything shared here is intended to be honest, long-term, and grounded in the life I am actually living.
